THE EMPEROR OF ATLANTIS (The Kaiser of Atlantis or The Disobedience of Death)

This opera was composed in Theresienstadt Nazi Concentration Camp in March 1944 when Ullman was imprisoned there. It was an allegorical depiction of a kaiser and was eventually considered a satire on Adolf Hitler.
